Welding Engineering Consultancy

INSPECTE Ltd. have European/International Welding Engineers who are part of the company. This allows us to offer Welding Engineering services for sub-contract RWC services up to Execution Class 4, for EN 1090-2 accreditation and ISO 3834 accreditation. Welding engineering consultancy includes all aspects of technical queries, appraisals of design, manufacture, suppliers, selection of welding processes, material selection, and evaluation. We also have qualified Metallurgists on the team for any  defect or failure investigation work. 

Inspection Services

This includes on site welding surveillance, witnessing and qualifying welding procedure qualifications in accordance with EN ISO 15614, witnessing and qualifying welder qualifications in accordance with ISO 9606 (other standards may be used for qualification if specified by the client).

Quality Assurance and Quality Control

To comply with EN 1090 and ISO 3834 we complete a preliminary assessment which looks at the quality management system, fabrication process, welding procedures and qualifications, welding process and traceability of the fabrication shop.  Preparation in order to gain accreditation and assistance during audits by a European/International Welding Engineer can be provided.

Non-Destructive Testing

We provide Level II and III NDE specialists for Inspections.

Qualified IWE/EWE inspectors for Visual Inspection, Level II and III in Radiographic Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Liquid Penetrant Inspection and Visual Inspection.

CE and UKCA Marking Services

We offer the full technical package in order for a company to obtain CE or UKCA marking in accordance with EN 1090.

Laboratory Testing

In order to qualify our welding procedures and qualifications we use a UKAS accredited laboratory for all destructive testing. 

We can offer Tensile Testing, bend Testing, Charpy Impact Testing, Macro/Micro, Hardness Testing and Chemical Analysis.
